One of the key roles of the South Copeland GDF Community Partnership is to create a Community Vision.
This involves working with local people to consider how you would like your community to evolve.
Over 400 of you told us what you most value, and what you might want to improve in South Copeland during our initial survey.
You told us transport infrastructure, local economy and employment opportunities, and health and social care were important to you and needed improvement.
We’re continuing to work with local residents to explore the emerging themes in more detail, and would like your views to develop the vision and ensure it reflects the community’s hopes and aspirations for the future.
Please tell us more about what matters to you in South Copeland by answering this survey: https://forms.office.com/e/GtXJkwpqB7
Why does this matter?
One of the Community Partnership’s key roles is to create a Community Vision by working with local people to consider the areas future, and the potential role of a Geological Disposal Facility (GDF). The UK Government will provide Significant Additional Investment to the willing community that is ultimately selected to host a GDF. The Community Vision will help to shape this investment.
For more information on the Community Vision and Significant Additional Investment, visit the Nuclear Waste Services website.
