As the next step in the process of finding a suitable site for a Geological Disposal Facility (GDF), Nuclear Waste Services (NWS) have identified smaller locations in the Search Areas that they want to investigate further called ‘Areas of Focus’.
They’re holding a number of drop-in events in the Search Areas, including South Copeland, to update you on their progress.
